I had the pleasure of meeting Marius and Camilla about a year ago during their trip to Italy. I had the honor of shooting their engagement photo session. Immediately, we developed a special vibe. This often happens when a couple hires me to be their professional photographer: Marius and Camilla were very relaxed in front of the camera lens, allowing me to take some gorgeous shots which were later used for their wedding invitations.
Fast forward to a year later, and here I am as their wedding photographer in Italy! The ceremony took place in the splendid Villa Serego Alighieri, whose owners are descendents of the great renowned Poet, Dante Alighieri. The location was picturesque, surrounded by the green vineyards of Valpolicella.
The exchange of the vows took place outdoors, allowing me to work with the natural light only, which is the one that I prefer! The ceremony was very intense and full of emotions: the newlyweds’ eyes were filled with extreme happiness for their special day! During lunch, the usual commemorative speeches took place, where relatives and friends of the couple recalled the special moments that they spent together, while wishing them happily ever after.
The portrait session was magnificent: it took place at the right time, and with no stress. I brought Marius and Camilla not too far from the villa, in the middle of a lavender field, and later through the vineyards, where the warm light of the sunset enhanced the romantic atmosphere that was taking place.
Definitely, one of my favourite weddings so far!
