Getting Married in Tuscany, Italy

My job – as a distinctive Italian wedding photographer – often brings me to Tuscany, which for a long time, has been one of the most popular destinations for weddings in Italy, with couples coming from all over the world. Planning a wedding in Tuscany is almost an inevitable choice: it is the universal symbol of love, fine cuisine, and art. It is no coincidence that this is the land where the Renaissance was born – providing us with priceless masterpieces. Tuscany possesses a unique energy which is immediately perceptible. When you arrive, it’s like taking a step back in time: the landscapes tell the story of a genuine country, completely tied to the tradition that is still alive there. It is a special place where everything is beautiful, pure, and impressive. It is a place where the buildings, the streets, and its rolling hills give off the feeling of intelligence and love for beauty, which is a typical trait of the Tuscans. Tuscany is a place that represents the perfect setting for hundreds of couples who come here every year to celebrate their most special day. Taking a little vacation there completely fills your soul with joy.

It is always a great pleasure for me to be chosen as a wedding photographer in Tuscany. Being able to work there is an absolute privilege: nothing is comparable to the light and the atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside, or of the cities of art such as: Florence, Siena, Pisa, and Lucca. The magic of Ponte Vecchio in Florence, the scent of art that you can really breathe in at the Uffizi Gallery, or the green hills of the Val d’Orcia and its wine cellars are all rich with history. Let’s not forget about the medieval villages, the towns rich in history, the castles and fortification systems, the small rural churches and charming abbeys, which are present throughout the entire territory. Their profiles stand out in the landscapes of the Crete Senesi, Val d’Orcia, Garfagnana, Chianti and Maremma. There is also Lunigiana – the part of Tuscany that descends from the North towards Lucca and extends to the Tyrrhenian Sea – a less known destination but absolutely to be discovered! There are also numerous sources of Wellness: Montecatini, Saturnia, Montepulciano, Monsummano and Bagno Vignoni which – thanks to the thermal waters and resorts equipped for every type of treatment – offer relaxing holidays. Every place in Tuscany is special – the choice is tough.

Tuscany offers countless possibilities and solutions, hosting both civil and religious ceremonies in fabulous places that blend perfectly with the various couples who visit and which offer breathtaking views, unforgettable colours, and the artistic lifeline that only this land can demonstrate. I highly recommend that you take full advantage of these wonders: Tuscany is the very essence of the Italian lifestyle, and every day spent there will give you a pretty good idea of what heaven should be like!
